ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT<\/h2>\n

Integrated Restoration, the formula for the successful recovery of open-pit mines<\/h3>\n

The restoration model implemented by MAGNA makes it possible to restore areas in which activity has already ended, while the extraction tasks continue, minimizing the environmental impact and the financial costs of restoration.<\/p>\n

The Restoration Plan contemplates the characteristics of the physical and socio-economic environment, taking into account at all times land rehabilitation, the measures to minimise erosion and the protection of the landscape and natural resources of the area.<\/p>\n

Today, thanks to this Integrated Restoration model<\/strong>, more than 30% of the restoration work on the Eugi mine has already been completed. This means that many areas of Quinto have been improved for agricultural activity, creating pasturelands for cattle and forestry use following the planting of autochthonous trees and bushes.<\/p>\n
